Following up on[ KDE's announcement of the latest stable release](https://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-4.14.2.php), we have now packages available for 12.3 and 13.1 (a 13.2 repository will be made available after it is out). You will find them in the [KDE:Current](https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KDE_repositories#Current_KDE_SC_release) repository. Current users of this repository will get the new release automatically once they update.

Why you should upgrade? You can take a look at the [list of changes](https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&bug_status=RESOLVED&bug_status=VERIFIED&bug_status=CLOSED&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=2014-01-01&chfieldto=Now&chfield=cf_versionfixedin&chfieldvalue=4.14.2&cmdtype=doit&order=Bug+Number&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=) to get an idea. These fixes touch many important KDE applications, including KMail, Okular and Dolphin.

Packages are also on their way to openSUSE Factory.

 |
						|
As usual, bugs with the packaging should be [reported to openSUSE](http://bugzilla.opensuse.org) and upstream bugs should be [reported to KDE](http://bugs.kde.org).

Also, if you like what KDE is doing and you feel you can not contribute directly, you may want to support this [end of year fundraiser](https://www.kde.org/fundraisers/yearend2014/index.php).
